Located in the heart of the town of Ambleside, this traditional Lakeland slate building — which has been a hotel for around 300 years — is currently undergoing an exciting restoration ahead of its re-opening in December 2019. Near Lake Windermere, The Ambleside Inn is the perfect base from which to explore the National Park and the town of Ambleside, whose history goes back to at least Roman times.

From water sports and boating on the lake, tourist attractions and first-rate shopping, to first class walking in the splendour of the Lakeland fells, there really is something for everyone.
